My Journey
Growing up in Thailand, I was filled with questions about life, spirituality, and human potential. Why are humans called “superb beings” while causing harm to the environment? How can Buddhist teachings be so profound, yet Western countries seem more advanced?
My quest for answers led me to experience both worlds. I have evolved from a curious kindergartener in the rural Thai countryside to an exchange student in California to, now, an IT professional and professor in the US. Through my degrees and life experiences, I maintained a deep connection to Thai Buddhist teachings. Each perspective offered unique strengths, and I became fascinated by how they could work together.
In 2007, I discovered the teachings of Luang Pu Wat Pak Nam Pasee Jarean. Through meditation retreats and study, I began to see how Eastern wisdom complements Western innovation. During the COVID lockdown, I dove deeper, connecting years of learning into a clearer understanding.

A Note of Transparency
I’m not an extraordinary meditation master or spiritual guru. I’m a fellow seeker with academic training (including a Ph.D.) and a tech background, sharing insights from respected teachers and personal experience. My goal is not to declare which tradition is “right” but to offer practical wisdom that complements your journey.
Even though I have learned from the approach of Luang Pu Wat Pak Nam, any errors, misinterpretations, or room for improvement in this content are my responsibility alone. Please do not associate any mistakes with the temple or its teachings. If you find something incorrect or unclear, I welcome your feedback to help improve the content.
I (The Wonder Seed) am the primary content creator, supported by a couple of family members who assist with editing and brainstorming ideas. We are not officially affiliated with any temple; we are simply sharing what we’ve learned in the hope that it may benefit others. My ultimate goal is to help others navigate their spiritual journey more efficiently, combining the best of Eastern and Western wisdom traditions.
Why This Matters
In today’s fast-paced world, ancient wisdom and modern understanding are both essential. Just as we all share the same sun and gravity, we’re all subject to the same fundamental laws of life. Understanding these principles has brought me peace of mind and reduced suffering—benefits I believe everyone deserves.
Through EastWestWisdom.org, I hope to save you years of searching and help you discover how Eastern wisdom and Western progress can create a richer, more meaningful life.
